█▒║ 2007 proved to be a fruitful year to French DJ.producer D'Julz, as ║▒█
█▒║ he saw his tracks getting released through renowned imprints such as ║▒█
█▒║ Pokerflat, Klang and Poussez. Early 2008 sees him returning to Josh ║▒█
█▒║ Wink's Ovum for his third release on this label entitled Just So You ║▒█
█▒║ Know. Toppping things off is an additional remix by acclaimed Dutch ║▒█
█▒║ producer 2000 and One. Here we go... ║▒█
█▒║ ║▒█
█▒║ The Original Mix busts a simple house rhythm consisting of thumping ║▒█
█▒║ kicks, claps and intense bass-lines for starters. As the track ║▒█
█▒║ proceeds, acid-styled drums are added that do reminisce of Wink's ║▒█
█▒║ own productions. The main theme on this one is a freaky synth ║▒█
█▒║ melody, twisted beyond recognition, but forming a great yet manic ║▒█
█▒║ addition to the basic drum-loop. The sequencing is quite surprising, ║▒█
█▒║ with several cool effects and build-ups to be heard, but the real ║▒█
█▒║ power comes from the drums/synth combination: Simple, sick, but ║▒█
█▒║ highly effective. Pure acid-based house music for hedonist. Ovum- ║▒█
█▒║ style, just just gotta love it! ║▒█
█▒║ ║▒█
█▒║ The Bass mix can be considered a dub version of the original, ║▒█
█▒║ busting just the kicks and percussion as heard on its predecessor. ║▒█
█▒║ This makes the tune a fantastic DJ-tool, or, if you wish, a funky ║▒█
█▒║ hypnotizer for those late night grooves. 2000 and One's remix is a ║▒█
█▒║ more minimal-coated rocker with soft, pulsating kicks and some very ║▒█
█▒║ nice (oldschool vibe!) percussion. Minimal meets house on this one, ║▒█
█▒║ with 2000 using a lot of effects from way back. Warped over the ║▒█
█▒║ beats is the slighly altered synth from the original. The result is ║▒█
█▒║ a fiercely pushing tune that will cater to both house as minimal ║▒█
█▒║ fanatics. And probably to everybody else as well. An irressistible ║▒█
█▒║ piece of groove! ║▒█
█▒║ ║▒█
█▒║ D'Julz contribution to the almighty Ovum imprint will not go by ║▒█
█▒║ unnoticed. All three tracks on this release are of extreme high ║▒█
█▒║ quality, providing a damn hot series of superb funk and house ║▒█
█▒║ grooves to go ape on. ║▒█
█▒║ ║▒█
